The main responsibility of the PA is to assist Producers or Directors. They help the production run smoothly by handling various errands and delivering communications between members of the crew.

read transcript or proof type setup to detect and mark for correction any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors. Excludes workers whose primary duty is editing copy. Includes proofreaders of braille.

review settled insurance claims to determine that payments and settlements have been made in accordance with company practices and procedures. Report overpayments, underpayments, and other irregularities. Confer with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation.

care for individuals with mental or emotional conditions or disabilities, following the instructions of physicians or other health practitioners. Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and report to medical staff. May participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs, help with personal hygiene, and administer oral or injectable medications.

make announcements over public address system at sporting or other public events. May act as master of ceremonies or disc jockey at weddings, parties, clubs, or other gathering places.

purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for the operation of an establishment. Purchase raw or semifinished materials for manufacturing. May negotiate contracts.

conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate and finished products. May conduct stability sample tests.

provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files. May assist in dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.

speak or read from scripted materials, such as news reports or commercial messages, on radio, television, or other communications media. May play and queue music, announce artist or title of performance, identify station, or interview guests.

take x-rays and CAT scans or administer nonradioactive materials into patient’s bloodstream for diagnostic or research purposes. Includes radiologic technologists and technicians who specialize in other scanning modalities.

drive switching or other locomotive or dinkey engines within railroad yard, industrial plant, quarry, construction project, or similar location.

research or study range land management practices to provide sustained production of forage, livestock, and wildlife.

Real Estate Photographers specialize in creating photos of properties to help Real Estate Agents attract interest in property listings. Real Estate Photographers take photos of the interiors and exteriors of properties, develop film, and digitally touch up photos to present homes and buildings in the best possible light.

Recording Engineers are audio technicians that manage the recording equipment used to capture audio during the post-production process. They typically set up, maintain, and operate the audio equipment needed to record sound effects, music, or dialogue for movies or TV shows.
