Typical day

On a daily basis, Account Executives Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. They Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.

1 of the main responsibilities as An Account Executive is to Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

Some may also Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

In a normal work day, another thing that Account Executives do is they Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

In addition to that, they Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales..
