Human Resources Assistants, Except Payroll and Timekeeping typically need a high school diploma for most positions. However, employers may prefer to hire candidates with some college education or an associate’s degree depending on the specialty. Courses in social and behavioral science and computer software are particularly helpful.
How hard is it
You may need some previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience to be a Human Resources Assistant. For example, an electrician must complete three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job.
