Day in the life of
Advertising Manager – David Walter
I work at a smaller company, but here’s what it’s like to be an advertising manager. One of the biggest things I do is plan advertising campaigns and decide where we will be executing them. At this point, for the most part, that involves social media. But we’re a growing company, so I’m also involved in any of the hiring or staffing as far as the advertising department is concerned. As we bring more folks on I’ll be very much involved in that process. And once our advertising campaign is ready to go, I’ll review it and make any changes or adjustments as I see fit. Also, once an advertising campaign is up and running and then when it concludes – I’ll analyze all of the data as far as the results of the campaign, and figure out ways to make the next one even better, or if we need to move in a different direction.
