I’m a Web Designer and Developer. Most of my clients are local in Cincinnati but I also have some clients scattered throughout the country.

Because I own my own business, about 1/5 of my week is spent marketing or working in my business by blogging, scheduling Instagram posts, networking, scheduling content, content marketing, emailing my email list, accounting, etc. It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to run a business. About 3 days of the week, I’m designing and developing websites for new customers. I also spend about 1-2 days a week working on past customer websites either for maintenance care or by additional requests that they have to add new pages to their website or some adjustments.

Pros and Cons

I love working for my own business. The challenge is that you are always on for your customers as it is just me. I also was not prepared to do as much marketing. I love however being able to carve out my own schedule and choose my own customers.
