Day in the life of
Landscaping Company Owner – Mark Dudek
As the owner of CSD Hardscapes LLC, it is my job to secure work for my team. We are a small, Veteran-Owned business so I don’t have a large sales team to go out and get work for us. I’m the salesman, social media manager, operations manager, project manager, etc.

Work in progress
A typical day for me is waking up at 5 am, making coffee, heading to the office (from one end of the house to the other), checking emails, social media leads, etc. Heading out to the jobsite, picking up needed materials for the day, meeting with the customer, and getting the day started. I work on a jobsite, usually, from around 7 am till around 5-6 pm.
After that, I head home, shower, check emails, leads, post project updates on social media, etc until it’s time to eat, then relax with my wife until it’s time for bed, then get up and do it all again.

Work in progress
Pros
I make my own hours, love what I do, we get to change lives and property values.
Cons
Work can be sporadic and it’s up to me to stay in business.
I wouldn’t change a thing! I could work a 9-5, but that’s not what I love to do. I love having the freedom to create beauty from nothing with the medium we use. We can truly create magic with our products.
