It’s fun and interesting. I’m not your typical music artist. I make music that’s both entertaining and healing.
I’m able to explain deep truths in a way that’s melodic and easily understood so that listeners can maintain mental wellness.
For example, “Let Go” has been responsible for many achieving mental clarity when it comes to their life situation.
Music is the perfect way to achieve this because song lyrics replay in your mind like affirmations affecting how you see the world.
What is your work life like?
Typically, I am a full-fledged music artist. So my life consists of making music, shooting videos, performing, and promoting.
When writing songs, I go through what I call writing seasons.
During these seasons, I can write and complete 10 songs in a month. But in the off-season, which I’m in now, nothing. This is not from lack of trying.
However, I respect the creative flow and never want to force music.
My current focus is my album IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE, which is a guide to having inner peace no matter the outside circumstance. It’s now available for pre-order.
In addition, I put out a lot of content via my website including blog posts, helpful videos, and quotes. This content is all geared toward healing the viewer.
Pros
As corny as it sounds, the pros are joy and peace. Being able to do what you love and having others appreciate it is an indescribable feeling.
Because of the nature of my music, many have come to me with some of the seemingly worse problems ever imaginable. Each time, I’ve been able to say the right thing either musically or verbally that has helped them to see it through the eyes of truth, and thus overcome it forever.
Even though I’m the one helping others, it feels freaking amazing! I get just as much from it.
Cons
The cons are there’s a lot to learn and there’s no blueprint for what I’m doing. I’m often having to switch between artist, manager, and business owner. But in a way, those can be seen as pros as well.
