A typical day of work for me is centered around speaking with people. As a mortgage broker, I am either constantly speaking with someone at a lender or a customer. These take up the most of my time since customers don’t understand the process and come to us for advice and insight. Then calls with the lenders are always time killers since we have various account execs at each lender we work with and have to sit on calls with them to learn new products and benefits.

Pros and Cons

The pros are endless but the biggest one is helping people. We get to help people from all walks of life. The cons are the hours during the busy season in the spring/summer.
