If you want to be an electrician, you need to be prepared to do many strenuous activities. An electrician may have to run power lines along the side of the road or send wires through crawl spaces. You also need to be able to climb and lift objects. Every day we face dangers. The dangers we face when working with heavy electrical equipment and tools are not limited to burns, cuts, and scrapes. There is also the possibility of being electrocuted. We must be competent, experienced, and cautious enough to ensure our safety as well as that of our clients and colleagues from electric current shocks, burns, or worse, death.
