Many actors enhance their skills through formal dramatic education. Many who specialize in theater have bachelor’s degrees, although a degree is not required. A bachelor’s degree in theater is becoming more common among stage actors.

You may need some previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience to be an Actor. For example, a bank teller would benefit from experience working directly with the public.
