I work as an Effects Technical Director in the field of Visual Effects helping to create movies, TV shows, and commercials.

Typically the first hour of my day starts with looking over work that finished rendering overnight, with the second hour of a daily meeting to review the work, during which the feedback notes are given to take the work forward.

After that, a very normal work day begins, which consists mostly of taking the CGI in shots further and addressing the feedback on as many items as possible to set up new renders and simulations before the end of the work day.
