Typical day

On a daily basis, Medical Assistants Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. They Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.

1 of the main responsibilities as A Medical Assistant is to Record patients’ medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.

Some may also Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.

In a normal work day, another thing that Medical Assistants do is they Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.

In addition to that, they Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians’ instructions to patients..
