Entomologists study how insects interact with their environment. They use their research to help manage pests in agriculture and residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Environment Artists are responsible for creating the 3D textures and models for the environments and scenes in video games and 3D animation. They typically use 3D modeling software to create digital assets.

Environmental Consultants research the environmental impact of specific activities. They then present their findings and recommendations to their clients.

ESL teachers’ main responsibility is to teach non-English speaking people how to communicate fluently in the English language. They often work in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as in adult education centers.

The Executive Chef is the leader in the kitchen. The reputation of the restaurant and how the kitchen runs is dependent on the skills of this individual. They also need to make sure that the food is prepared perfectly before it is served to the customers.

set up, operate, or tend machines, such as glass-forming machines, plodder machines, and tuber machines, to shape and form products such as glassware, food, rubber, soap, brick, tile, clay, wax, tobacco, or cosmetics.

repair tears, holes, and other defects in fabrics, such as draperies, linens, parachutes, and tents.

Facility Managers make sure that the buildings they are in charge of have the repairs and maintenance they need. They also keep the records of all of the payments and all of the work that is done on the buildings. They make sure that the commercial building runs smoothly all of the time.

diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries that commonly occur in the general population. May refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment.

instruct and advise individuals and families engaged in agriculture, agricultural-related processes, or home management activities. Demonstrate procedures and apply research findings to advance agricultural and home management activities. May develop educational outreach programs. May instruct on either agricultural issues such as agricultural processes and techniques, pest management, and food safety, or on home management issues such as budgeting, nutrition, and child development.

diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, dairy equipment, and irrigation systems.

recruit and hire seasonal or temporary agricultural laborers. May transport, house, and provide meals for workers.

attend to live farm, ranch, open range or aquacultural animals that may include cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses and other equines, poultry, rabbits, finfish, shellfish, and bees. Attend to animals produced for animal products, such as meat, fur, skins, feathers, eggs, milk, and honey. Duties may include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, milking, castrating, branding, de-beaking, weighing, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist in birth deliveries; and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. Includes workers who shear wool from sheep and collect eggs in hatcheries.

The farrier usually travels to farms and trims and puts shoes on horses. They usually have clients that they see regularly.

prepare and cook food in a fast food restaurant with a limited menu. Duties of these cooks are limited to preparation of a few basic items and normally involve operating large-volume single-purpose cooking equipment.

A film director is responsible for managing the creative side of a film. They must interpret the film script to create a compelling film that will appeal, and doing so is a very involved process.

conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.
