My typical day starts out with me arriving at the warehouse at 7:00 AM sharp. Then I immediately make sure that the boxes and packages are organized in a way so that everyone can do their jobs easily. After that, my responsibilities begin. I mainly have to pack the boxes in a certain order while also making sure everyone is packing correctly. Something we do in the warehouse is to check on each other and make sure the boxes are being packaged properly so the work we’re doing altogether is good quality. So overall, the responsibilities we have are making sure the packages are packed correctly and in the correct order.

Pros

The pros of this job are that the pay is consistent and you get to be on your feet rather than sitting at a desk all day, while also talking to people and being sociable. Also, the hours aren’t crazy and you don’t ever have to work a night shift or anything like that unless you want to.

Cons

The cons of being a warehouse employee for me is the repetitiveness. While the work can get boring we try to counter this by keeping each other up and entertained by joking around and staying active.
